CLIENT: Tri-Coastal Design
DISCIPLINES: Creative Concept, Illustration, Packaging Design
ROLE: Lead Designer
CHALLENGE: Design a line of bath and beauty packaging for Tri-Coastal’s summer market, from concept to line sheets to technical design.
EXECUTION: What comes to mind when thinking of summer? Hot? Bright? Jumping in a body of water? Maybe (hopefully) a vacation? I wanted to evoke that joy and excitement of summer by using bold colors, tropical motifs, and watercolor elements across the line.
PRODUCTION: I laid out specs or tech packs for all of the products in the line. I was responsible for communicating with our factories overseas, and worked closely with them to ensure cohesion across the line, and make sure all packaging was perfect for mass production.
FINAL PRODUCT: The final products were displayed in Tri-Coastal’s NYC showroom as stock available to buyers for wholesale purchase. The Summer Splash collection has been sold online and in stores worldwide—Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Justice, Ross Stores, Stein Mart, and Amazon, to name a few.

ROLE: Lead Designer
CHALLENGE: Design a traditional Valentine’s Day line of bath and beauty products for Target.
EXECUTION: I utilized typography and prints that exhibit a hand-done feel. While keeping traditional Valentine’s Day colors, I kept the line current with a focus on “self-care”. I wanted to express that V-Day doesn’t just have to be for those in romantic relationships, but for our pals and ourselves as well.
PRODUCTION: I laid out specs or tech packs for all of the products in the line. I was responsible for communicating with our factories overseas, and worked closely with them to ensure cohesion across the line, and make sure all packaging was perfect for mass production.
FINAL PRODUCT: The final collection is currently available for purchase at Target.com and select Target stores this Valentine’s Day season.

DISCIPLINES: Digital, Social Content
ROLE: Designer
CHALLENGE: Create branded content for the NBA’s instagram that would be used as “hype” graphics, and to highlight various players, teams, or award winners.
EXECUTION: Using some provided imagery, I wanted to add vectors and colorful graphic elements to each asset to create contrast and engage the viewer.
DISCIPLINES: Jewelry Design, Branding, Packaging, Art Direction, Photography, Social Content
ROLE: Designer
CHALLENGE: Develop an identity for my jewelry business that encompassed the airy, carefree spirit of the beach, with efforts to remain as eco-conscious as possible.
EXECUTION: Playing off the use of organic materials and inspiration, a hand-drawn logo mark seemed appropriate. The palette draws from crystal clear oceans, pastel sunsets, and that gorgeous purple that emerges when broken seashells are eroded in the waves and sand over time. With ocean conservation at the heart of this project, I utilized eco-friendly papers and packing materials, as well as created my event displays from found driftwood and other re-purposed materials.
SOCIAL CONTENT: All social and digital content relates back to either the aquatic color palette or the beach theme to maintain a cohesive feed. I’ve taken all product photos using either a DSLR camera or my iPhone.
SHOP: All items are shoppable on Etsy, Instagram, or Facebook, or in person at local shops and events in Northern, CA.

CLIENT: Wink Brow Bar
DISCIPLINES: Print, Layout Design
ROLE: Designer
CHALLENGE: Wink is a luxury threading studio that put organic brow threading on the map. I was tasked with creating branded print materials including service leaflets, mailers, event collateral, etc.
EXECUTION: Sticking to brand guidelines, I utilized simple, structured layouts to create chic and clean looking print materials to be distributed. Wink has since branched out to services beyond the brow, and expanded to a not-so-mini, dual-country empire of six locations: four in Manhattan, and one each in Brooklyn and London.
DISCIPLINES: Creative Concept, Layout Design, Packaging Design
ROLE: Creator/Designer
CHALLENGE: I wanted to find fun ways to educate newcomers about the importance of public transportation in New York City, and how crucial it is for day-to-day life.
EXECUTION: People love kits—for anything. The survival kit targets new commuters who may not know the ins and outs of public transportation, but also serves as a humorous, relatable gag gift for natives who know the ropes. The loud and chaotic packaging is a good representation of the city. Commuting may not be so glamorous, so what better way to get through the mundane of everyday life than with a little quirky humor?
I drew inspiration from the Pantone color swatch book. It’s bold but small, super easy to navigate, and conveniently swivels to display each page. Using this same method,
I created a pocket-sized informational book containing facts and statistics about NYC public transit. Each section provides a little photographic journey through some of the city’s various transportation methods (subway, bus, taxi, citibike). The utilization of bold, bright colors makes navigating the book simple—kind of like what public transportation is meant for: making it easier for people to navigate the city.
